Whorl: Redwood Lace Burl (Partially Stabilized, Purple. CA glue finish)
This piece of wood didn't take up much of the stabilizing resin. Because of the softer nature of Redwood, a CA glue finish was used to create a hard, durable, shell around the whorl.
