Buckeye Burl "Void" Tibetan Support Spindle
*This spindle has had a counterweight added for balance which is only visible on the underside of the whorl. See next to last photo*
The piece of wood this came from had bark inclusions and a large void. The wood has been stabilized, and the void was filled with clear CA glue. There are bubbles and holes in the CA glue, but the whorl is solid and extremely well balanced.
Being handmade, from natural materials, every spindle is unique, but this spindle is truly one of a kind!
